mysmallclaim, a service provided by KrugerTech (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number: 2018/526844/07), offers a platform to help users draft legal documents and educate them on how to use and deliver these documents to get a court date. The services are provided for educational and informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. We do not establish an attorney-client relationship with users.
3. Use of the Website
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this website.
- You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the website.
- You agree not to use the website in any way that may damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the website.

By using the mysmallclaim drafting tools (“Service”) you acknowledge that KrugerTech (Pty) Ltd will collect, store and process your information as described below and in our Privacy Policy.
(a) Information We Collect
- Account & Contact Details - your name, email address and any login credentials.
- Claim & Drafting Data - claim particulars, defendant details, claim amount, language choice and any text you enter into templates.
- Generated Documents - final Letters of Demand, Summonses, Defences and Counter-claims produced through the Service.
- Usage Analytics - current drafting step, defendant type, claim type, payment status, delivery method (download vs email), AI-suggestion acceptance, information-request count, document-generation time and other interaction metrics.
- AI-Interaction Logs - your draft text, the AI's suggestions and whether each suggestion was accepted, modified or rejected.
- Technical Data - device, browser, operating system, IP address and cookie/session identifiers for functionality, security and fraud prevention.
(b) How We Use Your Information
- Service Provision - to render, save and deliver your legal documents.
- Service Improvement - to debug errors, benchmark AI quality and refine templates and features.
- Analytics & Reporting - to create aggregated, anonymised statistics (e.g. common claim types, average claim amounts, language distribution) for business intelligence and research. Aggregated data cannot identify you.
- Security & Compliance - to protect the Service, prevent fraud, satisfy legal obligations and enforce these Terms.
- Communication - to respond to support requests or notify you about your use of the Service.
(c) Data Sharing
We never sell or rent your personal data. Sharing occurs only:
- With Service Providers (e.g. Firebase hosting, email delivery, payment processors) under strict confidentiality and use-limitation agreements.
- When Legally Required - to comply with court orders, laws or valid legal processes.
- To Protect Rights or Safety - as permitted by law, including enforcing these Terms.
(d) Data Retention & Deletion
Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above or to meet legal, accounting or reporting duties, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion at any time by emailing adriaan@mysmallclaim.co.za. Statutory retention requirements may override such a request.
